Allison Pincus, LCSW

Allison is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Empowered Minds Counseling, LLC. With over 18 years of experience in behavioral health, community mental health, and the child welfare system, she has had the privilege of supporting adults, youth, and families through many stages of life.

Allison works with individuals as they navigate life’s transitions—whether that’s stepping into adulthood, adjusting to college or career changes, building healthy relationships, parenting, healing from grief or trauma, or exploring women’s issues.

Her approach is person-centered and strengths-based, rooted in the belief that you are the expert in your own life. Allison’s role is to walk alongside you, empowering you to discover the tools, skills, and confidence you need to thrive. She incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) into her work to help clients release unhelpful beliefs, heal from the past, and create the meaningful life they both desire and deserve.

In addition to her work with clients, Allison is a board approved clinical supervisor. She provides clinical supervision to therapists, supporting their growth and development as they strengthen their skills and confidence in the field.
